Ben Gilmore

Ben is the Design Director at Exo Digital. A UX professional with over 20 years of experience, Ben has worked with a range of clients from not-for-profits to well known brands including BBC, Telstra and Seek. A skilled user researcher, Ben has extensive knowledge of designing for people with disabilities and has won awards for interaction design.

Motivations

Problem solving and mentoring people are Ben’s strongest motivations. He enjoys the “ah ha” moments from understanding the needs of our clients and gets tremendous satisfaction from seeing people progress and develop.

Proudest Moment

One of the proudest moments for Ben was leading the UX experience on the design of the BBC Olympics site which went on to win an D&AD award for interactive design.

Pastimes

In his spare time, Ben paints and is a keen photographer. He enjoys walking his dog and is an avid reader.
